Hi, I'm Makenzie

I live in beautiful western Massachusetts and I am a graduate of Hallmark Institute of Photography- class of 2012, where I began my career capturing live music and band photography. After several years behind the lens, I took a several year break from professional work and pursued a career as a Veterinary Technician.

My journey back into photography began in late 2022, when I welcomed Cedar, my Doberman Pinscher, into my life. Cedar reignited my passion for photography and inspired the creation of my new brand, Pinscher Portraits.

Animal photography has always been a deep love of mine, and through Cedar, I’ve found the perfect way to blend my two passions: photography and animals.
